Every year I host a Pumpkin Patch event in my neighborhood which is so much fun because it brings together families and kids who might not otherwise connect. This year’s patch on October 10th was a smashing success with almost 100 families, amazing face painters, balloon artist, treat bags, tons of food and free pumpkins. I’m so grateful to my sponsors, Randy & Deb Lipp of Starkey Mortgage, Jay Williams of State Farm Insurance and Mickey Spillane of Skyline Pest Control who contribute in so many ways. I’m also thankful for those neighbors who purchased a chance at the Halloween wreath which raised money to help fight pediatric brain cancer.
