The Talent on my Team (pt 2)

In case you haven’t heard, spring is here…AACHOOO!! My team and I are busy with a flurry of buyers who are anxious to get settled into new homes but the inventory hasn’t quite produced the selection I typically see this time of year. So the desirable homes that do come on the market are snapped up. We have to move fast!

This month I want to shine a spotlight on one of my most trusted employees, Diane Black, who joined my team full-time in 2013. Diane is an interesting and oftentimes hilarious mix of computer nerd, detail ferreter and marketing guru who has spent most of her career in and around the housing and lending markets

After the birth of her 2 children and a move to Georgia with her husband and kids, Diane formed her own company, Beyond Words Inc., to provide marketing, database management and virtual assistant services to small companies and real estate agents. With that amazing resume and depth of knowledge, she joined my team as full-time Director of Operations in 2013 and we have been going strong since.

Diane manages all the day-to-day details of a client engagement that include contract administration, listing documentation, online and printed property marketing, client care, back-office administration and more! She’s also been known to roll up her sleeves and beat our printer into submission. She has a never-ending supply of patience and good humor and is a font of knowledge for many agents who wander into my office looking for help (unless I chase them out first so Diane can work uninterrupted!) < So with all that experience and know-how, it’s no wonder that she nailed her real estate exam last year and is also looking forward to working with clients as a Buyer’s Agent!
